I dislike having to do an appraisal, especially when you know the person appraising you is not being objective enough. All you need to do is to listen to all the negative remarks/comments, and to accept (them) graciously. Oh, you still have to smile and say “thank you very much for your time” to the reviewer after the session even though you are feeling super hurtful and worthless. Sigh!

In just less than 30min, I will be in a room with two reviewers – Mr. Nice guy and Mr. Big Mouth. Judging from their “names”, I am sure you can guess who will be the one shooting all the poisonous arrows at me, right? I wish and hope Mr. Nice guy can help me to shield some of the arrows so that I am not “injured” too badly.
