17 June 2010 - It was my last day with Company D. Had alot of mixed feelings while doing my clearance. Time flew very fast, and with just a blink, I was with the company for almost 3.5years. I am glad I have the opportunity to be working with Company D. I have made make a few good friends during my stint, and the working life at company D was actually quite good - the pace is slow, the workload is reasonable, plus some of bosses are pretty nice. I am really going to miss the people there. But because of the need to advance in my career, I have to make the choice to leave. sigh. Hopefully my choice is right.

Shaffaan who was supposed to be on leave this week actually came back yesterday to bid me farewell and accompanied me to do my clearance. Thank you shaffaan!

I woke up today at the same timing as I always woke up to go to work, but Mr Lim reminded me that yesterday was my last day with the company. I was like, ya hor.. I ended up doing the household chores. haha

My ex big boss is so kind to have a farewell lunch for me at Grand Hyatt - Straits Kitchen today. Seeing familiar faces make my heart feeling kinda sad. Initially I thought I would cry. However, it turns out that the farewell lunch is not filled with tears or sadness, but filled with a lot of fun and laughters. I make the wise choice to be seated with Vincent and Shaffaan, who never fail to bring me laughters. I will definitely miss laughing with them. It is such a pity that Vincent is also leaving the Singapore firm and to be back to his country. Vincent, I will miss you!

Gek Teng asked me whether do I regret leaving the company. Well, I told her that I would not say that I regretted, but rather, I feel sad that I was leaving some of my bosses and colleagues who treat me very well. It is the people who make the difference.

I am a very emotional person and I hate saying goodbyes, especially to those I like.

Sigh - I am feeling emo emo again.
